@spentitallagain it's so fantastic to hear you're still going strong! Getting through the cup weekend must have been a massive relief!
I second those words! It's important to look at the bigger picture, you're never gonna win back what's gone.

Re: Starting all over again! Day 1
Thanks @Printemps
Day 229 today, life feels way better than what I did when I started this thread. I still get spikes and triggers of urges.. just have to stay strong, I feel more in control of my life than ever but I know how quickly it can change and I could be at ground zero

@spentitallagain these updates are honestly so fantastic! I truly think that the insight that you have about the risks of triggers and urges is so fantastic. I hope you feel so proud of how far you've come and I also hope that others reading this can see that that it is possible to overcome this.

Hi @spentitallagain,
Thank you for the update about your journey!
Your story is so inspiring. It shows others that recovery is possible. Your awareness about your triggers and the fact that you know there might be though time are also amazing. Keep up all the good work!

Day 1 here too. I still have a vomit inducing gambling hangover from yesterday. My mental and physical health is shot.
We can do this!
Feel like the change in weather and being able to get out and about in the sun should help.

Hi @Gem81,
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. And yes, it's good that the sun is out more. Warm and bright sunlight can definitely make us both mentally and physically feel better.
I'm wondering do you have some self-care strategies to help you when you are feeling low or not well?
Take care and stay strong!
