Hi @spentitallagain
Well done for checking in on day 2, I know it's hard starting again.
What can you learn from the last time you had a lapse with your gambling in order to prevent yourself from gambling again?

Day 3 today
Staying strong
@Safari
Knowing that I can’t just stop at one bet.. and no matter how much money I win or lose the odds are never stacked in my favour.
As soon as I place that first bet, the dopamine cravings in my brain overpower my rationale decision making processes..

heya @spentitallagain having a lapse can be frustrating, but at the end off the day you've come back and you're having another crack, so good on you.
How are you travelling today?

Day 5.
Just racking up the days so far.
My slips tend to be big ones and quite impulsive though:
Hoping that posting on here regularly and then talking to the councillors/ listening to audiobooks will help

@spentitallagain it sounds like you've been reflecting a bit on when/what causes the lapses. Do you feel like you can build up some techniques for managing the urges when they hit?

Day 6 today..
Feeling urges today..
Going to try and “Surf the urge” because I know my future self will be thankful…
I just feel like it’s Will power a lot of the time unfortunately..@Printemps
I am working on strategies with the councillor to try and get through these tough spots

Re: Starting all over again! Day 1
@spentitallagain urge surfing is a really good and useful technique, that, the more you practice the easier it becomes.
But as you say, building up this will power takes time, so be kind to yourself and take it day by day!
