A way to ban gambling completely

    Sun Nov 17, 2019 4:43 pm

Many countries have banned gambling, but why haven't we? Is gambling a part of our lifestyle?

Gambling brings nothing but financial problems and sadness in a household. We gamble so that we can win, but we lose. Then we try to chase our loss and lose more. Our wallets get lighter. Our bill piles get heavier. The happiness in the family diminishes. Your child is not getting what he needs, even if it is the school fees or a pair of new sneakers. This gambling help will not help the majority of the gamblers, because they are too busy trying to waste their earnings on a betting venue. My old man just went to bet on some greyhounds his friend trains, and he is a loser because all his greyhounds suck at racing and lose. And the trainer ends up shooting the dog if it loses the race. He should suit himself.

Animal cruelty and financial problems. This is what gambling can bring. I remember when Saints Row IV came out, it was banned in Australia and they had to edit some of the levels and items in the game. And the reason for the ban was that the game was promoting the use of drugs. But in TV's, betting is promoted, and it shows how people have won, and they are sitting in million-dollar houses by the pool betting. Why isn't this being banned? Australia can only ban inappropriate videogames and maybe a few types of items such as the pistol-shaped lighter. But I think they want gambling to be a part of everyone's life. They want the future of Australians to be full of disappointment and having an addiction to betting.

Either change the person who is running Australia and making decisions on having gambling a part of their culture or change the rules and ban the whole betting thing. The Melbourne Cup might be something which makes Australia well known for its horse racing, but what about the workers and breadwinners who have spent their hard-earned money on an animal, hoping that it would win. Just give the horses and greyhounds a break from this vile habit of making money. Tab, Sportsbet, Neds, Ladbrokes, and the other companies who make money of people's gambling addiction should be ashamed of what they are doing. They should be chased out of this country. But the excuse they will give is that people want to spend money on us and they are enjoying it, who are we to stop them from betting.

Betting is like a drug. If Australia cannot ban betting, they should legalise meth, heroin and cocaine.

Please support this post by sharing it among your friends and family and wish you all the best on killing your gambling addiction
