Welcome to the forums and thank you for sharing. Fighting gambling is not easy especially it has been in your life for so long, but there is definitely hope. I am wondering do you have any support in place to help you? Or are you considering getting some? There are gambling counselling or financial counselling you can access. I have included some information about this in the welcome message we sent you.
This is not an easy secret to carry on your own, you are welcome to share them here. This is a safe and judgement-free space. Let us know if there is anything we can help you with.

Hi everyone,

I've been a gambling addict for over two years now (first time saying this out loud) and this is my first time seeking help. Feels like a weight lifted off my shoulder admitting that i have a problem. I'm a 30year old woman with 2 kids and feel so embarrassed that i have this addiction. I feel I'm living a double life. I act happy around my friends and they have no idea about my addiction. On my own im in a dark place. I have told my partner and he is very supportive, I've deleted all betting accoubts, but find it very easy to set up new ones. Hoping this forum can help.
