Re: Quitting Again
Hi Chunkyquitter,
Congratulations for being gambling free. Great work.
It must have been difficult to open up to your counselor. I find it's always the difficult things that are the most helpful.
Glad to hear that your injury is on the mend.

Re: Quitting Again
Mu initial injury just wouldn't get better. I'd tried everything, then I stumbled across Dr John Sarno and learnt about TMS.
If you've tried everything for back oain and there is no specific cause and it just won't get better you need to research this, I've gone from chronic pain sufferer to training at the gym a week later.
Ye power of the mind is amazing

Re: Quitting Again
Reading this old post of mine, it’s hard to believe I could have gotten myself in a bigger hole.
Really wish I’d given over control of my bank accounts back then.
Holy ***** can not believe how much of a hole I’ve dug. I am so full of regret and have wasted my life.
I have betrayed the people closest to me it’s become time to face the music. I actually loathe myself so much I don’t think they could hate me as much as I’ve hated myself over the last few years.
I’ve been gamble free for a few months now but can’t seem to even chip away at this debt

Re: Quitting Again
I should have elaborated. These old posts have been helpful too see how much happier I was when gambling free.
I had massive flare ups pain and back issues. I feel a lot of the medication I was in and this pain reoccurring had started me on the path to gambling again.
I proved I could stop but didn’t put the tools in place to deny myself access to money. This has been a real eye opener. Gambling keen jump back into your life so quickly when you need an escape. The harm causes a hangover. Anybody that is successfully stopped make sure you get rid of access to money
