Hey All,
First time posting here, I’ve always gambled since I was 18 in my early 30s now but in the last few years it’s become very bad. I’ve went broke 3 times now and my partner has supported me through them all.
In march this year I went broke and got help from a councillor over the phone and was very determined not to gamble. So I didn’t place a bet in 6 months my finances were way back up I managed to save a good bit and things were going really well…
In October I started gambling again and was in control for a while and then found myself betting bigger and bigger and getting back into my old habits of sitting up late betting on everything horses, dogs, football, basketball, ice hockey, snooker anything really. I’ve spent an absolute fortune in the last two months and my partner has no idea! We are going home for a holiday in less than 4 weeks and I just cannot bring myself to tell her. I managed to quit this time before going broke but it still leaves things fairly tight I feel so ashamed that I’ve done this again coming up to Christmas, I did it last Christmas too and just wanted to share my story and hope that I can become a better person and get my life back on track!

Re: I’ve done it again
Hi @Kickitnow,
I was looking around the forums and found out we haven't response to your post. I hope you are doing alright at the moment. Apologise about missing your post in the first place.
It sounds like the relapse is quit intense? How are you doing now? Let us know if you are looking for any support or services, we can give you some information about that. It's good that the counselling helped, have you considered or have you re-engage with it?
Let us know how you doing.
