    Hi Prince,

Sherpa09 here (one of the moderators on the forum).

    Welcome to the forum!
When you get strong triggers such as a payday, its important to find a distraction for 15-20mins until the urge subsides. Distraction can be in many forms, for some people it can be exercise, reading a book or even contacting one of our gambliers help counsellors on 1800 858 858. Hope this helps...

Well done on reaching out and look forward to future posts.

    Welcome to the forum Prince

Instead of walking to the Casino ... walk home. Leave your cards home on payday only carry very little cash... like $20 for lunch. Changing the routine is hard and confusing but over time it gets easier. Make payday a different day .-the next day or day after.

It’s super hard when you gamble online and all your cards are saved to the website :(

But I deactivated my accounts last night and I hope I can push through and commit to stop gambling. :D
