The financial advisor can't take me on because I leave in 5 days, it has to wait until I return to Melbourne. It is a bit of a mess jumping straight into full-time work training, financially it is good, getting my house in order it is bad. I am trying to deal with it all now before I start the new job. i have contacted various cash advance people but they are hopeless and not really compassionate at all.

    Another day clean :)

    Hi Izzi
I am new to this site but have been gambling for a long time and you need to stop and think about how much debt you're getting yourself into. I know its hard but stop using the payday lenders, you know their fees are higher and you'll end up so financially stressed it will impact on your health. I have done the payday lenders and when you don't meet the repayments you know you have to pay it back longer and will have to pay more. This happened to me and I am scrapping from pay to pay which is a sickening feeling that I know you get constantly. Just stop and see the financial counsellor asap. It sounds like you're letting the gambling get the better of you, because you sound just like me.

That is so true Annie..you have to get off the payday loan roundabout no matter how lng it takes..commit to not gambling and it will be so much easier..we have all been on this treadmill but you can get off any time you choose

I hope all goes well for you back at home and in your new job Izzi. Great effort to have 10 days gambling free especially given the upheaval and uncertainty. Take it easy..... One day more......

Oh Ang that is so risky....as they only upgrade to complete ban if they catch you in there a couple of times. I will never be allowed back no matter how many hoops I jump through whereas you are still only self banned which isn't as serious.

Mind you if you get caught then you won't be allowed back in ever either and maybe that is a good thing!! I know it has worked for me as I do not want any police involvement after what I have already been through!!

I know how you feel though.....the urge takes hold and you know you shouldn't be doing it but you still do. I am not innocent at all in this regard.

All I can say at the moment is after 12 weeks and 12 pays completely clean......I do not want to lose another cent gambling and I know you feel the same Ang.

Have a fantastic holiday with your daughter. I look forward to hearing from you when you get home. xx
