Hi all, new to the forum.
Im a 43 yo professional guy. Brisbane based.
ive been trying to kick this thing for a while now. It just keeps damn coming back.

Im desperate to kick it, life really is going no where. Really want to get this **** done this time.

Casinos is my game, tables mainly, but sometimes the computer games as well.

Today its been Day 5 for me. Made the decision to walk away, of course after a loss on Wednesday night. Going ok, feeling strong, but damn this is bloody hard.

Great to read some of the success stories here.

Power to you all.

Thanks mate,
Made it past the first week, i feel like i should celebrate it (a week is a long time for me, believe me).

Dont feel over the moon, feel i should, but still feel rather blur.

Ive never been a great sleeper, but its been worse in the last week, go figure, you would think it should get better.

Onwards and Upwards

That's fantastic! Congratulations for getting through week 1! :);

Sorry to hear you're not feeling over the moon. Do you reckon the 'blur' feeling may be somewhat grief? Have a look at this post.

Don't forget to be kind to yourself, all adjustments take time. Have a read at this post, there's some useful strategies to give you some ideas.

The sleeping could be related to many factors. Hopefully it will progressively get better.

Onwards and Upwards, love it!

Keep us posted on your progress.
