Seven years is an excellent effort congrats
I don't think that there is a "cure" for gambling addiction, it's something us as addicts with have to manage for the rest of our lives.
I know myself even after 4 years away from gambling that there is risk in letting my guard down when it comes to gambling. But I also know that unlike when I first quit gambling rarely crosses my mind anymore. Sure thoughts flicker in my brain occasionally but they are not accompanied by the need to gamble.
So we fight on. Because the rewards are well worth it

I agree with Jinxy..sometimes I feel like life would be easy again to just be lost by anonymity in a pokies venue,but I know in reality how harmful that is.

Hang in there. Things are tough. About 8 years without gambling.
Now I have some health problems. Getting old. ,lol. Keep up your efforts and keep trying.
