Hi, I would like to chat
I’m wondering what started others gambling? For me it was approx 5yrs ago, I was going through a terrible time and was lonely and hurting.
I went to the club to get out and found I could play the pokies and just forget about everything for awhile. At that stage I was just betting 50cents a go, then I actually won the big jackpot which really shocked and thrilled me.
After that it became a regular escape for me.

Thank you for sharing. Loneliness and trying to escape from reality are two of the reasons I have heard a lot. What you experienced is actually quite common. Many people started small, and maybe won a few times which made the situation worse as people tends to start thinking it is possible to win big...
