    Hi Guys and Gals

    Well today is my first day. I am hopeful. I am wanting to stop the merry go round. I will try new things and see what happens. I can only hope, I have been trying since I was 17, where there is a will there is a way. How to want to stop gambling and how to put it into motion. It is all good to feel this way when I don't have any money on me and there is no access to excess money. Where there is it is near on impossible for me to stay away from gambling. Taking harsher measures hasn't worked in the past as I get into fighting with people I trust with my confidence and my addiction and it blows up in my face. So I keep many things to myself and give nothing away to people that I meet. So how is everyone else?

    My day has been alright, my body is a little bit tired, might be because of the weather, been cloudy and showering all day.

    Hi @SW1 ,
    Lapse and relapse are common in the recovery journey. Don't be too harsh on yourself, the most important thing is don't give up and one day t a time.
    We are here to help and support you! :);
