Hi I'm in my late 30s family with two kids and a dog. Been gambling since I was a teenager. But never thought of it as a problem.

It was entertainment and a place to feel the chase and reward and disappointment and recovery all at once.

Through the years I would gamble with what I could spare, then I would win big! And increase my bet size and continue to chase my loses.

Would stop for while and self exclude. But there is always another event, promotion and mates waiting to visit the casino.

Due to the recent pandemic, I have completely lost control and lost more than I ever could afford and worst it has changed my view on the world and everything is negative and against me.

I feel helpless and worthless to this addiction and want to be free again.

    Hi guys,

Have had a few counselling sessions on here and it has really helped out. I have a family of 5 and I just need to stop or at minimum stay in control of my gambling. I’ve been doing this for 15 years pretty much everyday. I need a new start and this is step 1. I have also signed on for the 100 day challange. Nice to meet you all.

hey @AnJ it sounds like you've got a lot of really great supports in place to help you achieve those goals.

You can start your own 100 Day Challenge Thread on here as well if you'd like! That way you can check in and track your progress, while also keeping in touch with others in the forums and getting that bit of extra support.
