    Hi i am friends with an ex
    He seems to think he can get involved in my finances. and ask me if i have been gambling
    how much

    i dont know how to keep this friendship
    i have no close friends right now.

    I would suggest that you take some time to reflect on things that you enjoyed before you started to gamble. Make a list.

    Think of things that you haven't done but would like to try.

    Most areas have interest groups where people with similar interests can meet, community groups canalso be useful in this scenario.

    This gives you an oppertunity to meet people with similar interests to you, and possible development of new friendships.
