    Thanks @Printemps

    I've done so much cleaning in the past 2 days that I think I'm now getting sick lol......didn't realise how much I let the house go. But it'll all be worth it in the end.

    Oh I forgot that I wanted to make a holiday wall! (Places we've been) so it's a very big dream to add to it and a few photo walls for the kids.

    I'm not a big reader but I do believe it relaxes the soul. So maybe I'll get back into it.

    I did recently finish a novel as a favor to a friend - It's called "Hunt you Down" by Destiny Booth (A young and upcoming Author - available on Amazon) It's her first book ever published and you would think she's been writing for years!

    It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea but always had me guessing. It's a male gay romance/erotica's novel so not for the faint hearted lol. Tells a story of lust, romance and domestic violence.

    Hoping everyone's "look forwards to" are accomplished and then some. :-)

    @smokey86

    Thanks, Birthday was Friday. The big 40, getting old :p

    So I do Pastel Pet Portraits. Mostly done dogs, couple of cats. Always been in to drawing since I was a kid but I really got into it during Covid and after I quit gambling and haven't looked back :cool: :cool:

    The New Xbox X is awesome :cool: :cool:
    Mum and Dad gave me some money towards it for my Birthday but I also had to put in some too and I know that it is something I could never have afforded if I was still gambling.

    Here's to kicking the habit :D

    That's awesome @JinxyWolf !

    I'm looking forward to the day I can buy something knowing that it is actually mine and not just put through the pokies.

    Hopefully this week :-)

    Okay, everyone, I thought this week it might be good to hold some space for whatever we're looking forward to. Having things on the horizon can keep us motivated during recovery and provide a reminder of why we're doing this all in the first place!

    1. I'm looking forward to seeing some friends this week, I've been unwell so it'll be nice to have some social time again.

    2. Travel plans, they're still a way away but after so long in Aus it'll be nice to head off overseas finally!

    3. Going to a few gigis. Again this was something that sort of fell off after covid but I have some tickets from shows from December to March so I'm pretty pumped!

    how about everyone else? What are you looking forwards to?

    Hi all~
    It has been a while since I shared something with you all so I thought I can share the 3 things I am looking forward to :o
    - Giving some of the gifts I made to people ( I hope they like them)
    - Some alone time (about 20 days) in the house to focus on just myself :);
    - I am also looking forward for my parcel (with some crafty parts) so I can make more things~ :D

    How about you, anything you are looking forward to?

    Hi everyone! I thought this weekend we could list out a few things we're all looking forward to!

    Remember the time span on this is whatever you want. You may have a few things you're looking forward to this week or things that you're working towards in the future!

    1. I have a few gigs coming up which I'm really looking forward to! I feel like I'm finally coming back out into the world after everything over the past few years

    2. getting on top of my reading! I'm one of those people that has like a thousand things on the go at once so It's good to get through at least one of the books I'm currently reading

    3. Spending time with my parents tomorrow. They live far away so I don't get to see them very often!
