Re: 3 things to look forward to
hello everyone! We're getting back into a proper routine with the weekend activities! I'm so sorry there has a bit of a dip the past month, there have been few changes around here with Lovely Cat Lady leaving!
But without further ado...Three things too look forward to!
1. I'm looking forward to getting home tonight and reading a book I've just started! It's about Patti Smith and is very interesting
2. I have some yummy meals to make this week, so I'm looking forward to having those. I gt a bit out of kilter with my cooking and self-are over the holiday period, so I'm looking forward to getting back into an actual rhythm
3. I'm looking forward to the year a head. I think that the start of the year has been a bit wild, for everyone, but we can all get through this and find our footing again!
How about all of you guys? What are you looking forward to?

Hi @Printemps
The three things I am looking forward do are
1) getting into a routine with work and eating and excise.
2) having control over my decisions and thinking clearer for the year ahead
3) being happy and healthy

@Printemps
I am looking forward to the following in 2022:
1. Travelling Oz in my van - semi-retirement so working where and when I want which will be great as I WILL NOT be wasting my money on pokies
2. Visiting my son, his wife and new baby (to be born in May) in Switzerland and my daughter and her partner in UK. Will have been 3 years since I have seen them
3. My general health and wellness - getting a solid and committed plan in place for healthy eating, exercise and living my most awesomest life!!
LIVING THE DREAM!

hi @Printemps
I am looking forward to:
1/ Achieving the 100 days challenge.
2/ Loosing another 10kg in 3 months then maintain that for the rest of the year. I have already lost 12kg and reversed diabetes type 2 since September 2021.
3/ Watching more series on Netflix to take my mind off gambling.

@Printemps
This week I am looking forward to:
1. Continuing my health and wellness journey - exercising daily and limiting my sugar intake.
2. Going out west to visit my family for the week and catch up with some friends.
3. Discovering some additional books/audio books to help in my self development which in turn moves me further away from gambling!
Day#22 and enjoying the feeling of no guilt re lost $$ and time; and no feelings of self-loathing!

@Judes It sounds like you have a lovely week to look forward to seeing friends and family!
What are the books you've discovered? I'm always open to some reading suggestions!

Re: 3 things to look forward to
@Printemps - enjoying seeing my family at present. A few of the audio books I have found inspiring are below. I listen daily to these and sometimes over and over while I am driving or walking. I am always looking for new material to read and other strategies to implement to improve my life and to also put this addiction behind me.
Jen Sincero
You are a Badass
You are a Badass at Making Money
You are a Badass Everyday
Bad Habits
Wayne Dyer (talks about “God” a lot and I am not religious but I believe in a higher power)
Manifest Your Destiny
101 Ways to Transform Your Life
Making the Shift
How to get what you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want (with Deepak Chopra)
Excuses Begone
Works for me …. Keeps me focussed on the now and the new improved me!

Re: 3 things to look forward to
Hi everyone! Happy Saturday! to kick off this weekend we're going to share 3 things we're looking forward to!
1. I'm looking forward to some weekends away I have booked with friends, it has been a long few years so I am really looking forward to getting out of town and having some respite!
2. I'm looking forward to some cooler weather. I love the warm summers but here in Melbourne it has been a bit suffocating! Also I don't have aircon so that doesn't help
3. I'm looking forward to getting back int my running, I have to take it day by day to look after my health but just getting a few KM in a week is a nice change!
