    Hey @Jimap, I just want to say I really admire your courage. It's always easier said than done facing reality but you're looking at it straight into the eyes and there is nothing more powerful than that strength. If no one has told you yet, know you're doing a great job!

    Hey @Damaged_Armour,

    Good advice re- the drink, big slippery slope.

    Hope you're not beating yourself too much about it. It can happen to anyone. :);
    Have to beat myself up a bit or I'd still be there pumping $50 notes in :);

    hello everyone! How are we all going this week?

    I want to kick off Saturday by getting some re-framing going! I always find it useful to help change ,my lens on how I view things that are going on in my life, I hope it's something that will also be useful for everyone here.

    I'm going down to my parents place tonight and it's a really long train journey in the evening, but I've started a new book so it gives me a solid hour and a half to get some reading done!

    My bike is broken, even though I only just got it serviced :confused: , but it's meant I've gotten a lot of walking in lately and have been able to see some of the beautiful houses around where I live!

    Okay I'd love to hear from everyone! @Lovely Cat Lady @KAG @Anita44 @Damaged_Armour @Menz199 @Earth @Panta @spentitallagain @Jimap @yep123 :o

    Hi printemps
    Well I have to drop my daughter to work this morning and I have to pick her up from work tonight, it's 50min drive each way, but I was too tired to cook so I get her to buy dinner from her work, cos she get staff discounts 50% of all Mexican food yummy, with the discount it's worth to pick her up, or else I would tell her to catch a train and I pick her up from their hehe.

    They say the simple things in life are often the best.
    The weather has been a bit to cold to do this, and more so I'm always working, but today was the perfect balance of cool wind and warm sunshine to sit on the balcony and listen to some music from my 20s which I was retrieving from youtube.
    Then my daughter came and sat outside with me, also enjoying the rays of the sun.

    @Damaged_Armour That sounds like a beautiful way to send the day. It's amazing how a little bit of sunshine and some good tunes can bring people together!

    And did it again today...i have a 4wd that hasn't really done much 4wding lol so I drove the family to a track near by and tried to tackle some of the tracks, I stayed on the easy stuff mostly, i did attempt one part that was beyond the capabilities of my pajero and nearly ripped the bumper off hahahaha
    Anyways my 4wd now looks like we did something exciting, so i won't wash the mud off til next week hahahaha, like that commercial " i think they bought a jeep " :D

    Hello folks! We're trying to put a positive spin on things, which seems a little more difficult at the moment, but we'll push through :p

    The weather here has been cold and wet which has meant I haven't been able to get out for runs, but I have started doing at home workouts, which I'm really enjoying!

    I have a lot of assessments due at the moment, but it keeps me busy and I know that once they're all done I'll be one step closer to finishing my studies!

    I can't get out and see friends but right now I'm having more phone calls with people than I normally would so I feel a lot more connected with the people closest to me than I normally would!

    I'd really like to hear from everyone else today! I think this is a time for some nice positive outlooks.
