    Hi @Rubi

Seeking help is very daunting at first.

It's my 2nd time here after a relapse and currently on day 17. The support in this group is amazing and honestly, I don't think I could do it without it.

The urges are still there but becoming less when keeping my mind busy.

I actually have time off with the kids and hubby these school holidays, so we have plans almost every day for the first week!

Theme parks, fishing, festival, BBQ with friends etc ......I will literally have no time to hopefully even think about gambling.

Sorry to hear you are still struggling with bills, but on the plus side, at least you wouldn't be feeling the guilt that money is going on gambling instead!

    Keep strong, you got this!

    Hi @Pikachu

    So far, so good,

We went to a theme park and out to lunch with them yesterday.

My oldest is learning how to drive and I was up early this morning, so took him to go watch the sunrise and out for breakfast this morning at the beach to get some of his "night time" driving hours up. (He needs 100 normal hours and 10 night time hours before he can go for his license)

My boys use to be full on, but they have definitely matured over the past few years and becoming more aware of quality time which is good.

Had a friend over for a for drinks and catch up for a few hours when we got home which was nice as we haven't seen her in over a year.

Definitely more enjoying the little things in life, that we don't actually realise are the big things until it's too late <3

    Hi,

I am also seeking support to help quit gambling. I hope to help support others like yourself too.

How long have you been able to go without gambling?
