JBs 100 day challenge

Day 0. A post a day for my own self therapy, and if someone gets motivation from reading it then that's a plus. My posts will be honest, and keep me accountable. This is a new tactic to tackle an old habit. I wish myself the best and sincerely hope this doesn't just become a single post - if it does then that means nothing has changed.

Day 1, no problems as should be expected - have that bitter feeling still nice and fresh. Wish it wouldn't dissipate over time. One point, I did find myself thinking of the forum post today a few times. I am hoping that is a positive thing and not something else down the track. Back here tomorrow for day 2.

Day 3, all good so far. I normally would expect day 6 or 7 to have the urges, might be a bit compounded because of holidays too kicking off that day. Trigger identified, I will work on some strategies - posting here about how I am feeling is going to be the first one. Should be interesting.

Great boost today seeing @Squeaky giving me a post of support - thank you so much!

Back tomorrow.

Day 5, last day of work for the year and a typical time I would normally go out and gamble. Would rather stay home, so that's good. Posting here is helping, I encourage anyone else to consider starting their own thread for themselves. I find if I think about gambling, I think more about my posting here than the gambling itself.
