Now starting today second round of 100 day challenge. Target this time complete clear 100 days which will take me until end of March. Feeling ashamed today, must clear it from my mind and have a fresh start. Did immensely well over last 107 days of challenge, 2 relapses and the one yesterday was cheaper than the one before, progress. There are things still to clear out of my psyche, have a counsellor in place, usually have my call every 2 weeks, a longer period this time because of Christmas break. Lots has changed and more responsibility taken on, that’s not easy for me, contact with old love, Christmas with relatives, too much wine. I woke up this morning knowing I would prefer going into the New Year, alcohol-free, not over happy with situation I am in which is due to gambling, not taking responsibility and losing it all. The same old treadmill again after the loss. Have to put the big girl pants on again and get going.

    Squeaky,

Im one of the moderators here on the forum, thank you for sharing your thoughts during this uphill and coloured period for many. I'm wondering what the first port of call for you is (the emotional process or the self talk you do) when deciding to re-engage into the 100-day challenge, or when shifting your mindset into a balanced future focused mindset.

Chilled day yesterday, went to bed early, now feeling rested, got up for my Zoom training class this morning and my mindset feels back on track. Thanks @Dockers6 (facilitator); this forum will continue to keep me accountable. I could have so easily continued on my relapse yesterday, picked myself up, dusted myself down and back on the track.
