Hey big fat loser!!! Lol
Sorry It seems you have a sense if humour!

You're going so well, that's awesome! Obese and hairless (aka Brittney moment) but doing great.
Me not so well, stuffed up again grrr! I am 6 days gamble free and 4 smoke free, gotta also try not to eat for an entire village but I'll slowly work on that one.
I feel exactly the same as you, effing bored with life without the pokies and I effing hate it. I want a life where just living without pokies is enough.

Stick with it, hopfully the boredom will pass, if not get the clippers out! For god sake don't shake the pet though hahaha
All the best keep up the good work!

hey @LOSER1973

Counselling can be quite useful for some people. At times we may need to try it a couple times to feel if it fits. Each counselling experience is different ofcourse, so it may be useful to seek out another counsellor.
That being said, it all comes down to your individual preference and that is fine :) Finding what works for you is important but may take a couple more tries.

Hi How the f*** did I get here, Big and fat is a understatement I walked past a shop window today and my stomach was 5 minutes ahead of me! Big Fat huh? lol Well at least I don't smell like a chimney! LOL Start patching yourself up to get that Hmmmm nicotine hit. hahahah (Eat entire village lol that was funny!) I was thinking of dyeing my hair and try and not be recognised at the pokies as I am self excluded, the mind boggles...... So you stuffed up but did you win? Hope not as winning makes your addiction grow stronger. Why don't you self exclude? But before doing that join some clubs or get some hobbies. I do not know if your male or female but you could join a gym, ballroom dancing is very social, get a massage, sometimes I go on a dating site just to see how ugly the other are at my age hahhahahahaah so much fun reading some of the profiles. 6 day's eh? One more day and its time to celebrate a week! I dont know how many days I haven't gambled but trust me I have been very tempted!

Stomache 5 mins ahead hahaha

You know what Loser? Your post just had me in stitches even though I'm pretty low right now. I've just got home from self destruction, been on a gambling bender the past 2 days. So thank you, I can't speak for others in here but I appreciate your humor, definitely livens up this forum for me.
Incognito bahahaha! Love it!

So let me get this straight you go on dating sites as a hobbie and to size up your own gender? To see if you're ageing well in comparison? Hahaha
I mean I can't talk I also have just started "browsing" some sites out of sheer boredom, I guess there's a little bit of entertainment with the stuff you come across hey.
Do you do ballroom dancing? I have 2 left feet so no ballroom for me. I do have a gym membership, but it's getting no attention from me, the fridge and pantry has my undivided attention atm!

I'm starting again tomorrow, I actually am ready, I feel violently Ill thinking about my form the past 2 days! I'm over it, so effing done. The way I'm feeling atm I actually don't want to do it anymore, I feel like this time it's not going to take any effort to stop.

Is it weird that I even find this post humorous? 🤷‍♀️
I just laugh because I know the headspace of it. It's like "what the heck do I do now?" It's like removing your best friend who just so happens to be your worst enemy from your life.
Well congrats anyway on day 44, you're killing it!

Hi How the F did I get here,

Yeah I know this forum is like a library these day's so either everyone is cured or still spinning fruit!
I have tried to give up gambling for a LONG time now and I have realised one thing.......
Most gambler's are not happy with their life or you could be happy with your life but something has happened that you cannot get over and as stress relief you turn to gambling. I don't know what state your in but when you get serious about giving it up for good then self exclude from the casino and from all pokies venue's.
Never have debit or credit cards CUT THEM UP! I opened a bank account, cut the card up and now any spare money lying around I deposit into this account that I have no access to with a debit card., therefore I cannot withdraw any money to gamble.
Also work out your day's / times when your most like to gamble and arrange a evening out with friends. If you are mateless lol then google "meet up's" and join a night out there. You have to find a hobby that you enjoy that occupies your time. Mine's calorie consuming obviously! Yes I have tried ballroom dancing and its very social but no longer do it now. Don't worry about your two left feet you could have a tail and they will still let you in as long as your CASHED UP! Money talks eh? If you have gambling mates get rid of them, if you have no mates buy a dog more loyal! I'm 52 days gamble for I think but been so busy lately I haven't though about gambling this week much Bloody Miracle!
So the aim of the game is this:

1. Resolve your issues = Eg) Maybe a divorce has turned you to gamble, a loss of family member etc Whatever it is you need to deal with it and resolve it or learn how to live with it.

2. Lock your money up, or get a friend to hold your debit card for you. You will be strong at some points in the day this is when you utilise this strength to transfer money into a account where you have no access or open term deposits so you cannot touch it. I cannot tell you how expensive the water is at crown casino I mean I gambled $1700 and managed to get enough points to earn myself around 8 bottles of water. WHADDA JOKE

3. FORGIVE YOURSELF = What's done is done it's gone forever don't be hard on yourself! I always say to myself yeah I f**ked up I could have had another house but you know what? I had to gamble then to COPE or I would have had a nervous breakdown. It was my release and now I am copping better so time to let go of the crutch!

4. Spend time with mates to keep you busy........( I don't bother with this one people give me the ****) LOL

5. set a small target one week no gambling I DARE YOU!

6. NO MONEY = No gambling SIMPLE!
