    @BrisbaneLad It does get easier as time wears on. Just keep pushing through, fighting those urges. The first few weeks are the most difficult but when you get through it, it does get a bit easier. Eventually the urge to gamble will die down - I cant say if it will ever go away, but it does get easier to just say no and move on with life after you get the urge. You got this mate.

    Just remember, one bet is too much and a thousand bets are not enough. I learned the hard way! I went 200 days last year and thought one bet won't hurt and it still sent me down a spiral.

    Dont put yourself in bad situations and be wary of your triggers - so if you are invited for a night out and there may be an RSL, pub, casino or any other place that will host gambling - I'd strongly avoid even attending the event. You may think you're strong enough to go and not gamble (all credit to you if you attend and still abstain) but its not worth the risk especially if youre still in the first few weeks. Even little things like having lunches at pubs can trigger you to gamble - be very wary

    Get rid of all enablers - so if you have gambling buddies unfortunately you'll have to drop them, theyll just enable you to bet.

    Anyway, hope this helps. You got this mate.

    @Jc thanks so much for the insight. That is some top notch advice right there.

    I have been out with one of my mates yesterday to a pub, he gambled, I refrained and he looked at me real strange so I can probably see that friendship running it’s course tbh...

    Thanks once again for the tips and support mate. Super proud for you and your achievements.

    Day 10 😌

    @Jc
    Well done Jc! You my friend are a legend! So amazing seeing people smashing it and remaining gamble free. Especially when you become familiar with members and feel like you've been on a journey with them.

    Keep inspiring everyone Jc!
