Good to see you’re back JC. I have now restarted my count too. Let’s do this like we did last year.

Dan, I don’t know what’s happened to me this year. Last year I was ultra determined to beat this. I went 8 months. Now this year I can’t shake off this habit to bet.

Day 19 today. Gotta get through the weekend!

I don’t know anymore...is this gonn be my life forever?? Even when I’m not gambling, I’m still thinking about it. Will we always think about it??

You won't always think about "it" in the same way as in wanting to gamble. You'll start enjoying life gamble free that you think about it differently. Like... you will start to appreciate the fact that you have "broken away" from it.

Stay Strong!

Today marks day 28

A very close friend of mine is off to Europe with his brother and a few of my other friends...it pains me that I can’t go. I just can’t afford it.

And now it finally hits me how much I’ve wasted on gambling...over the last 5 years

Hey @Jc have you seen @JinxyWolf's recent post about goal setting? It might be some nice inspo for you at this time.

Stay strong, we're in your corner!

Yep, I do exactly the same thing. Last year I bought myself an iPad, this year I bought a really good PC. Most times I wouldnt have any money to spend. At least I have things to show for the gambling free life now.

Today marks day 35. Feeling good. I do occasionally have urges but I manage to suppress them easily. Only problem is I love sports, and its almost a trigger for me now, so I have had to cut back on sports consumption.

Have a great week folks.

Hi JC11,

Sherpa09 here (one of the moderators on the forum). Congratulations on re-investing back into yourself! Its always great to hear of members successes, where money is put towards things that can be of benefit rather than gambling. Well done again and look forward to your future posts!
