Its disappointing I know, but brush yourself off and forget about it. Don't dwell on it or you'll get depressed and play more.
    Start again!!
    You got this.

Day 19 and feeing stronger. As my wife works at a venue it’s impossible for me not to be around them but I’ve managed to be around them 3 times this week and the urge to touch them is getting less every time

    Hey @sml0490

Minor set backs are okay and are a part of the process.

    Don't lose hope.

At this point in time, its important to look at what brought you there...where did the temptation come from...how can you best avoid this for next time.

Take it as a learning experience.

    @sml0490

You are doing amazing 19 days that's awesome, or shall I say 21 now.
    Keep pushing, it gets easier.

May I ask why it's nearly impossible for you to stay away from a venue because your wife works at one?
I'm guessing it's because you go in or pick her up? Not sure? But just because she works there doesn't mean you have to go in even if you are picking her up.
Give her a sexy whistle from the car when you pick her up hahahaha.
    That's assuming you do.

I totally get it, as I stupidly worked in the industry for 15 years, which is stupid. So many hospo workers have at one stage or another been hooked on the damn pokies or tab etc

My advice is to stay as far away as possible, especially in the early days.
Well done for getting this far, the days will pass quickly, keep pushing!

At day 22 today and the urges are fading. It’s been a massive week with emotions (not gambling related).
The fact that I can get through it all with out touching the machines has been some what of a miracle
