I share the same feelings as Mona, it does feel that this forum is like a shelter amongst the storm. There is this energy that I can draw from these forums to help me stay GF, whether it be posting, or reading others' posts.

Stay strong Dan, you can do it!

Hi Dan, great to see youre still on track. I felt really bad at one point, and I just thought, if I get it over with and have one bet, all this mental anguish will go away. Just fight through it all. Im feeling better now although sometimes I do get random bouts of anger/anxiety etc but no where near as severe. Just keep going no matter what! Itll all be worth it at the end.

Well done Dan on your 82 days. It seems to be a common problem coming closer to the 100 days.

The urges increase for a while and you seem to think of them again. Find a new focus for your next 100 days.
I found something new to strive for and as soon as I did my brain switched off gambling thoughts again, very weird.
Plus my brain keeps thinking about never wanting to be at day 1 again, stay strong 😊

Hi Dan...

l can relate... I feel like l Am going through a "storm" at the moment.

We all know that storms pass... and we need to seek "shelter" in a safe place -- which for some us is in here.

Hope your "storm" passes soon. Stay Strong!

JC. Been super busy, trying to keep my self occupied the best that I can. Today marks 41 days GF. It’s been tough and the urges just keep coming back because I have free time between things I’m doing or when I stay at home on the weekend. Still trying my best.

How are you going JC? Sorry it has been so far between conversation.

Day 14 nearly over with... slight urges. I had class today and had to walk oust a venue. That smell or cheap perfume and beer in the air just gave me a reminder I didn’t need.

Went on with my day.. now hit the two week mark I will have to really put pressure on myself as I know the next two weeks are going to be twice as hard.
