    Unfortunately,

I had a lapse. I bet a few hundred dollars on the NFL. I’m not going to dwell. Ive already called the helpline up.

I’ve put all my money away in a term deposit account anyway, which will safeguard me from any future lapses.

This time, I’m not going to count days. I’m just going to live.

Temptations aka itches are very annoying. Once bitten it is a struggle - a fight not to scratch. Scratching turns an itch into a wound. Its good you have your money secured.

    stay strong JC !

Hey Cazza, I read your post. You can do this. You went 8 months before, so there’s nothing stopping you from doing it again and surpassing that.

This time around, I don’t think i will count days.

Hey jc , i get it about counting days. My brain is split in 2 on that. I think it becomes an enemy sometimes. I wonder if that made us itch when we hit the 6 months. I fought mine for a while as did you. I just don't know. But we both got back up thats the main thing i guess

JC, keep fighting - you can do this! I've still got the urges when watching soccer games, but I try to surf it, and I've channeled my addictive personality to my business and it seems to be helping.

Good on you to have gone so long GF before the relapse. Don't focus on trying to beat the number of days GF. Just focus on taking it a day at a time. All the best buddy, you can do this.
