How are uou going little fish?
Great to hear you were getting to so many meetings. And yes it's like that some meetings are more I don't know if its enjoyable, should I say more comfortable than others.

I might look into Russell Brands book myself.
Keep pushing and stay positive. All the best.

How are you finding the GA meetings?

Well done, Springhope. I’ve been travelling all over to different meetings & they do vary, but I’ve found a couple that I really like. Basically after years of trying to get on top of this on my own, I’m ready to do what I’m told for a bit! :D I’ve now met people who have years of sobriety because of GA, so I figure it’s worth a shot. Still very early days. I’m also reading Russell Brand’s Recovery: Freedom from our Addictions. I never had much time for him, but I’m loving his take on the 12 steps! There’s a great video of him discussing the steps on YouTube. Worth a look.

23 days. I’ve been going to at least 2 GA meetings per week for the last few weeks. Got a temporary sponsor this week. Checking in with her daily.

The meetings are great.

Thanks. Someone here suggested a while back that I get to as many meetings as possible in the first 100 days. After my last lapse (22/4) I finally decided to act on that advice. I've been to meetings all over town in the past 2 weeks! :D
