    Day 3

    Fri Nov 24, 2017 9:52 am

So my ability to sleep is getting better! I think that is the hardest thing, going to bed at 10.30 then waking up at 2.30am just to roll around and stress that you have to wake up for work. But I've been exercising, spending more time with friends and enjoying nature and my mind feels good.

Last two nights I've been hanging out with friends and it's been helping a lot. Yesterday was pretty dangerous though, went out to a friends end of uni display night for her interior design course and that was great, but afterwards her mom wanted to go out for dinner. We tried a burger joint first but it was too late and they were closing up. My friend's mum suggested a restaurant that's inside the casino!

Long story short, another friend of mine that was there wanted to have a punt after dinner and we were sharing an uber home so I had to stick around and watch. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to have a punt. I didn't and soon after we left. It's an achievement but at the same time not that much of an achievement because I didn't have a big bank roll available.

Either way, thanks for reading and for your support!

Steve, take any positive you can and run with it. You didn't bet and that's great. I won't point out the ways that you could have bet in case you didn't think of them. Well done. Keep going and keep proud.

Approx 55 days Gf ....gambling free and guilt free🙂

What I meant to say up there was that there was other ways to get money but you didn't, you beat the gambling demon and went home..well deserved winner
