    Going well and staying GF. Feeling better about myself each day that goes past.
    Definitely doesn't feel like when I started out in April, there is no constant fighting the urge. Just a stupid setback that i hope i will not repeat again. Have a lovely GF weekend everyone :);

    Hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas. Still staying strong and have no urges to return to the pokies at this time. Being busy for the last month has helped though i think too. Very close to the end of the year and the start of new beginnings for alot of us. Stay strong everyone :);

    So tomorrow is 6 weeks since my slip up and next week is when i would have been 9 months GF.
    I feel happy with how far i have come this year, even by how much has changed in the last 6 weeks.
    Have changed our home loan so there is no redraw on it anymore. Have cancelled my credit card and have already nearly paid it all off. Also changed how much my daily limit is on my eft card.
    So although i was GF for more than half of this year, I am really looking to better that in 2019.
    Hope everyone has a lovely new year and lots of us can stay strong and GF this coming year :);

    Good on you @Cazza Sounds like you have really gained control over the gambling and thinks are changing for you, all because of the actions you have taken.
    Welldone, keep it up! :)

    Hey, hope everyone is doing well. Been ages since I have been on.
    When i had my slip up i had to re address coming onto the forums for a while and give my brain a break.
    That was 13 weeks ago and travelling well. I had thought about re setting my time but i had been GF for so many months, i thought i would call it a slip up and not so much a set back.
    In 6 weeks it would have been 12 months that i set out to be GF. So for me to have stuffed up once in 12 months i am over the moon about.
    I still think about it of course and i think this will happen for years to come. Hopefully I have learnt my lesson on that it is just not worth it.
    Stay strong everyone

    Well done Cazza!

    So good of you to pop in ... I'd often wonder how people are traveling!

    I still dwell on my 8 month slip... especially when I hit 16 months I got nervous and started to avoid the area .. walking on other side of road... etc, The funny thing is that I found myself laughing at myself...

    There are some funny things happening in the mind when gamble free... it is weird at times but nicely so ... much much better than those sombre gamble hangover moods!
