Hi everyone,
I’m new here. I’ve been married to my husband for 20 years. We’ve been together for 24 years and we have 2 beautiful kids together.
2 days ago I left my husband because of his gambling. He has been gambling for the whole time we have been together. I just found out that he never actually stopped. He just hid it better. He had to borrow some money due to his gambling to hide it from me.
I’m heart broken because we are now no longer together but I can’t see any other way out.
Anyone out there with any advice? I’ve called gamblers help line and waiting for some counseling support.
I feel awful for giving up on him but after 24 years of this I can’t see anything changing so I’m doing this for my kids and myself.

Hi @Kintsugi,
