How to get the trust back?

    Mon Jan 15, 2018 9:52 am

    Hi all,
My partner's a long time gambler. Our relationship was pushed to the edge a year ago after finding out he'd been gambling and after much work, gambling support calls and relationship counselling, we decided to get back together. We spent a lot of the year travelling, away from the threat or gambling and reconnected. But, now we're back in the real world... I can see he's learned a lot about money and is much more responsible with a lot of things in our life. However, even though we decided he'd use eftpos rather than cash, he continues to take cash out, which in recent times has increased significantly.
I have asked him what it's for and he gives me blaze answers, that could be true, but I still don't fully believe him. I don't think I can keep this up forever, watching his money, asking and then questioning his responses. How do i begin to trust him again?

You don't trust him. Tell him.
