    I have joined the 100 day challenge and am on day 6. It has not been easy but I have survived a pay day binge on the pokies.Small achievement but a small step is a good one, It is hard to try and retrain your thinking but I am going to try.The financial damage I have done can get fixed eventually but it will take a long time. The emotional damage will get better when I am not constantly thinking of the pokies .When I read other peoples stories I know I am not alone, and we can all help each other.It is a terrible addiction so it is time for a change

    Such a great effort - it's a daily battle which you fought.
    I like your thinking in reminding yourself how devastating the 'after-gamble' feelings are.
    It's a hurtful, destructive hold which you have managed to break free from.
    Very inspiring. Your support and interest in others is admirable.
