Day 6... keep going Doug.. lol

    Tue Jun 11, 2013 10:40 am

    HI All

This is basically a diary, so i can keep track of my own head space.

Feeling ok today June 11. 13.

Have to work today, probably will listen to some music like normal.

Very nice weather today. My corn plants are still alive but growing slowly.

i notice i have little tadpoles in my frog pond.

i made tuna bake yesterday for dinner, it was good, had a fair amount of chocolate.l

listened to youtube alot also. found some cool 70s blue note songs.

maybe i will check in tomorrow , i am off work tomorrow.

    later

    Hey Doug,

Good idea to keep track of everything. So you're a jazz fan, hey! I went to see Cassandra Wilson on Sunday night for the Melbourne International Jazz Festival. It was amazing. Her harmonica player is RIDICULOUSLY good - he plays a chromatic harp and OH MY GOSH he is mind blowing.

Have you heard her 1993 Blue Note album Blue Light 'Til Dawn?

I loved the entire concert (2nd set was better) but one of the highlights was the title track of her latest album, called "Another Country"

Doug, that sounds good! Anything instrumental for me; next I'll check out Bris' link!
Got my internet on end of April, and was told by people not to use music programs like Imesh, but I got so impatient to get my music back, now I've got stuff from Jean luc ponty,Mcoy tyner, stanley clarke, george duke, spyro gyro, jeff beck, and until I met all you people I didn't care that my computer displayed strange symptoms-like when I shut something down, it rolls from top of screen downwards, I've had some message about a memory dump and the screen often goes blue and tells me some scary stuff, so I better stop with the music a bit.

    Hi Doug

Just wanted to say hi and great to hear that you are enjoying your music. I even went and bought some new music for myself the other week and I am rediscovering the enjoyment of having new stuff

    hi All

i could talk about music all day... i listen to anything from the Partridge family to Black Sabbath.

not really into rap..Not alot of current stuff i like either. So i spend lots of time on spotify and youtube, searching for hidden gems.

And i enjoy the links that are posted.

As far as today is going, just got off work, my wife and a couple of her girlfriends are going to Sydney to a art show or something. Its colder here on the south coast today, probably will stay inside, eat chocolate and listen to music. Its good that i would have to drive over a hour to gamble. Because i have the day off, no one is around and i have the money. So its day 7 ..

    continuation of my day.

Found out that my wife and her friends went to see wax figures in Sydney instead

of a art gallery. She mentioned seeing some cool stuff, like a wax E.T in a bicycle basket.

As for me , it rained off and on most of the day, i stayed home as planned. Read through the forums here

a few times, didnt think i had anything new to post that i havent rambled on about before.

Listened to music, got bored, took a nap. I have to work the next four days.

That usually means 4 days of guarenteed not gambling.

hope everyone or any one that reads this has a good day, week..etc.

This is more just a diary. See how long i use it ..

    later friends..

    Hi Doug

JUst wanted to let you know that I have done the same thing and enjoyed reading everyone's post. It makes me feel better and I now have a smile on my dial instead of the frown.

It just helps, again cause I am not alone

    Cheers - Linda
