What are some strategies when trying to quit or cut down? What works for you?

Hi Manda..I tried hypnosis when I was having counselling and I did find it beneficial..but uou also need to address why we get the urge to up is not easy but is achievable when you put your mind to it..understanding the triggers is the starting point and learning how to deal with them in a less damaging manner..good luck

Hey Manda, great question - would be really good to hear about other people's experiences... From a treatment perspective, we haven't see a lot of research to back up it's effectives so it's generally not one that is recommended by agencies. That said, I have certainly heard from people I've worked with that they found it helpful. They were also pretty motivated at the time and we're using other strategies like reduced access to $ etc too so it is difficult to know whether it specifically helped.

Hey could people please let me know their thoughts on hypnosis and if it's successful to end a pokie addiction ?!? Any help or advice is appreciated
