Well done and thanks for sharing your progress..I too still have thoughts about playing the machines but they are thoughts not urges..I hope to never go down that path again...as time goes on we realise how much we have to lose by gambling and we can rationalize our thoughts a lot better..keep strong

Well remaining gamble free is tricky and at this point you realize how much time you have spending all resources on this addiction, time, money, time and money, and all you get is disappointment and rejection from the evil cycle.

I am now coming into Day 90 GF and feeling like a new person, however the old does rear its head from time to time.

I still have to ride the urges, and this weekend again, I will have to be on guard as I head towards the coast for a few days. The real test literally comes at Day 105 when it is my mums birthday and we are celebrating at the Casino!!!!

That will be a test!

Today marks GF 102 Days!!

I have been so busy with work I had totally forgotten my anniversary date (shows that the brain has begun to heal)!

I have a big test this weekend as I am off to Melbourne for my Mums birthday, heading to the CASINO! Lord! But I have no real urge to participate in the usual family ritual of eat and gamble.

I will be forced to watch but it is good to have some exposure therapy I reckon!

Thank you all for your kind words, will report back from Melbourne this weekend,

Well done on reaching 100 days..and as to the Casino..it will be good for you if you look around and see how unhappy most people are while playing a machine. When you stop playing and take a step back from them ..you tend to look at them in a different light..enjoy the time with your mum
