Happy New Year and GHO update

Hi Everyone Happy New Year – we hope 2018 is being kind to you so far!

Thank you again to the members of the community who let us know about the spammers over the last few weeks, we will continue to closely monitor this, moderate inappropriate content and ban users who aren’t following our terms and conditions.

We can assure you that our site has not been hacked, and no one has had access to any of your information beyond what is readily available to all members on your profile page. As with anywhere on the internet we urge you to click on links with caution, using a stranger danger approach can be helpful - if it feels too good to be true or it’s from a brand new user that hasn’t said anything previously we recommend that you don’t click.

Also while it can be a pain, changing passwords regularly can really help with your overall online security, particularly if you hold the same passwords across lots of different accounts.

If you wish to change any of your settings you can edit your settings within the User Control Panel, this includes options to prevent contact from other members via email or private message if this is a concern.
