Going strong, good luck everyone. Turning people's offers down to hangout because you have a shortage of funds is a real downer.

It sure is a real downer but worth it in the (not very far away) long run. Keep up the good work.

Howdy User 5a1475a361435,

It is hard to keep turning down social activities due to lack of finances. I think that sometimes it is better to splash out on a cheap social activity rather than to gamble. As boredom is often a trigger for gambling it is usually helpful to find some social contact instead. Humans are social creatures and we tend to do better when we have an active social group.

Try to find some free or at least cost effective ways to spend time with friends. A cup of coffee, a bush walk, or a tour of an art gallery usually fit into most budgets.
