Hi Izzi,

Congratulations on day 40. So glad you could join the challenge.

What are you going to do to celebrate when you hit 100 days?

Hey Jerry,

Wow what a great question! I have no idea - people hit me up with some ideas?

I know what I would like but perhaps a little unrealistic to what I can afford LOL.

Not too sure if there are any set rules on this board, hopefully I do not get confused as I do post on the courtyard as well.

Hey Izz,

On my 100th day I went on a shopping spree with mum. Spent some of my hard earned money on things I wanted, not pissing it away at the pokies,
it was great.

Then again you could always just go toss some eggs a pokie venue..LOL :D :D :D :D :D

Hi Izzi,
I'm with Pam and Sandra in saying take your Dad out for dinner and of course you should treat yourself to something too.
My partner spoiled me on my 100th day with a bottle of scotch a book and a lotto ticket (gambling.. I know...) naughty me.. lol. I won too! div. 6 only... Doh!!
Well done for reaching 41 days :D
Take care, Lee

That is a super GREAT idea! OMG I am so going to do that. I will wait till it gets a lot closer to my 100th day and then tell my dad I am taking him out to celebrate and if he asks why I will explain.

I am still smiling over the idea of taking my dad out to celebrate my 100 days.
Today he is like Izzi, I hope you are not still gambling I do not want to find out you are playing games with your finances. I am like dad do not worry, you do not have to remind me, I know how bad going down that path is. A part of smirked inside, as he has no idea that I am almost halfway to 100 days and plan on sharing that joy with him.

I am from Melbourne, can anyone perhaps suggest any good places to take a more elderly man LOL.

We both love cats, maybe I can take him to the cat cafe - although he may not like the idea of cats roaming around as you drink and eat.

Hi Izzy, I grew up in Mel. The cat cafe sounds great but if you don't go there, why not go to the Crown Casino restaurants and I mean only the restaurants there, not the gaming area. The food is enjoyable there, have eaten in the main area quite a few times. Also you could show your dad, you are now retrained & strong enough not to go into gaming, even though you are near the rooms. He will be proud of you for acheiving 100 gf. I plan on doing a similar thing when I reach 100, eating at a venue with my partner where there is gaming close by but not go in the gaming area, only in the restaurant area. I want to prove to myself and my partner that the gaming rooms can shove it, I'm not tempted to go in there even though I'm close to the room :D I'm just excited about the food & desserts menu and my future. Congrats for being GF, you are an inspiration. Keep at it and keep posting about your progress. Suzy :)
